Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology organized “Orientation Day” programme for the newly enrolled students B. Tech and LEET, MBA, B.SC Agriculture, M.Tech and M.SC Physics, M.SC Chemistry and M.SC Maths (Batch 2016-2020) in its campus. The new entrants received heart warming welcome by the management of the Institute and were acquainted with the rules and regulations of the Institute. The students were full with enthusiasm on the start of their first day. The students came from various states that marks unity in diversity and turned the whole atmosphere lively with their presence. Director Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Tanuja Srivastava welcomed the newcomers and highlighted how determination can be achieved by the Institute. She said that all the productive steps are taken by the Institute to brighten the career of the students by placing them in top-notch companies and tapping the intellectual vigour of the students by absolute motivation. Further she encouraged the students to take education seriously as their career depends on their hard work in college life. She acquainted the students with the achievements of the Institute and their seniors and inspired them to leave no stone unturned for their lifelong success. She promises for continuing the high efforts in future also.
S. Hakam Singh Jawandha, Chairman Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions and, Dean Colleges Executive member Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha said that the interest of a large number of students in getting degree from BGIET in this session symbolizes the dynamic learning environment and amenities provided at the campus. The Institute is nurturing engineering students on value based education by providing them with quality education, human values, personality development and disciplined environment. Despite of fewer admissions in the area, BGIET scored well in admissions. On this achievement they felicitated the students for choosing BGIET to give an edge to their career and have been devoted to provide the best technical education to the students for a decade. He also said that in this cut-throat competitive world leadership qualities and knowledge of subject are essential for professional growth of a student. He was in jubilant mood to see the enthusiasm of the newcomers on the first day and the auditorium was replete with more than 700 students. The students enrolled at BGIET will learn to build the blocks for the self development and the growth of the nation through the outshining result and achievements. For such success the whole credit goes to the Management and Staff for providing outstanding guidance, imparting technological education, organisation of programmes at international level and giving preference to overall development of the students. The students appreciated the ultra-modern facilities, infrastructure and congenial academic environment provided in the Institute.
