Orientation Programme

After high school, moving to college is the most anticipated phase in the life of a student. Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions (BGGI), Sangrur organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted students for their easy transition into a college life and to help them find their way in the college for the next years of their education and also to encourages them to get better adjusted to the college environment. The major objective of the programme was to make students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and Code of Conduct.

The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Mrs. Baljinder Kaur (BGGI Secretary) and Prof. Dr. Tanuja Srivastava (Campus Director) and other College Dignitaries. The Orientation Programme was conducted under Student Induction Programme (SIP) and was continued for 15 Days.

Dr.Guninderjit Singh Jawandha (Chairman BGGI) welcomed the students & their parents & ensured them to provide best facilities to students in terms of Academics, Co-curricular Activities required for their overall development. He highlighted the accomplishments of the institute faculty and emphasized the need for continuous hard work and stressed that getting admission into BGGI is the starting point and not the end of the journey as The Flight to success has just begun.

Dr.Suvreet Kaur Jawandha(MD) welcomed the students and blessed them for their bright future. She guided students how to develop good leadership qualities, stress bearing capacity, innovative ideas, self-confidence and turning to be a successful professional.

Dr.Tanuja Srivastava (Campus Director), inaugurated the program and guided the students in shaping their future. She also stressed the importance of dedication to one’s profession and the need to have proper planning before taking up and implementing any project.

Principals of all the Institutions also shared their views & informed the students about their time tables, Past, Present & Future of the Technical education and steps to become successful. The students were told about different cultural activities and competitions, timetables and other administrative arrangements of the college.

The program ended by creating a significant impact on the students of the college and motivating them to achieve great heights.
