SARASVATI PUJA ORGANISED ON THE EVE OF BASANT PANCHAMI IN BGIET SANGRUR
Students from Punjab, Haryana, UP, Bihar, MP, Uttaranchal, Uttrakand, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and West Bengal and the whole faculty celebrated the eve of Basant Panchami by paying devotion to Mata Sarswati at Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions. Basant Panchami was celebrated in the campus with great joy and enthusiasm. Chairman BGIET, S. Hakam Singh Jawandha congratulated all the staff members and students on this occasion. The unity and celebration among all the students despite the cultural differences in context of the state, religion and gender were avoided by coming to combined celebrations. He told that he is proud of all the students especially those who have come from far places for education on their joint celebration on this event. S. Hakam Singh Jawandha congratulated all the staff members on the festival and said that the festival marks goodness and blessings of Mata Sarswati. He encouraged all to be with positive and with healthy thinking.
All the Directors and staff members of the constituent colleges of the BGIET Group were present on this occasion of Basant Panchami. On the occasion, special arrangements were made. The occasion was immersed in rich cultural folklore. Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha, Executive Member & Dean Colleges, BGIET, and Dr.Tanuja Srivastva, Director of BGIET congratulated all on the function of Basant Panchami and said the unity and cooperation among the students is appreciable. The celebration of Basant Panchami is always filled with blessings of Mata Sarswati and togetherness.
